Oktoberfest 2026 – Volunteers Needed! 

Join JBHF for a fun weekend at Oktoberfest, October 17–18, at Wilson Bank & Trust’s Main Office and Operations Center in Lebanon! Volunteers will help run our festival game, BATTLE AXES, welcome guests, and represent JBHF in the community. Games cost $1 to play, and JBHF keeps 100% of the proceeds. Wilson Bank & Trust will also donate $200 to JBHF for each day we participate! Sign up for a shift, bring your JBHF spirit, and help us turn a fun day at Oktoberfest into meaningful support for heart failure patients and their families.

 Volunteer Responsibilities

• Engage the community and get everyone excited to stop by and play our game!  Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and JBHF spirit.

• Welcome guests and create a fun, friendly atmosphere.

• Encourage festival attendees to participate and help draw people to the JBHF game area.

• Explain how the game works and help guests get started.

• Collect the $1 game fee from participants.

• Hand out prizes provided by Wilson Bank & Trust.

• Share a little about JBHF and our mission when opportunities arise.

• Make sure the game remains staffed throughout your scheduled shift.

• Most importantly, have fun and help make JBHF’s Oktoberfest experience one people will remember!

NO EXPERIENCE NECCESSARY!

• You do not need to be an expert on heart failure or our programs to volunteer. We will provide information, talking points, and support to help you feel comfortable representing the Foundation.

• Shift Information

  • Shifts are approximately 2.5 hours in length and take place all day Saturday and most of Sunday. Volunteers should expect to spend most of their shift standing and interacting with fair attendees.
