Dinner in the Vines 2027

On May 30, more than 400 guests gathered under the stars for our 10th Annual Dinner in the Vines, presented by Vanderbilt Heart & Vascular Institute. What unfolded was far more than a fundraising event- it was a celebration of hope, community, and ten years of honoring Joe Beretta's legacy through service to heart failure patients and their families. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees, Dinner in the Vines raised a record-breaking $375,000, making this the most successful event in Joe Beretta Heart Foundation history.

The evening featured a Tuscan garden-inspired setting, an exciting silent and live auction, moving patient stories, and a powerful paddle raise that generated $100,000 in support of families navigating heart failure. Guests also witnessed a surprise presentation that embodied the heart of our mission: providing a vehicle to longtime JBHF patient Judy, ensuring she can continue traveling to critical medical appointments and caring for the family who depends on her.

As we celebrated ten years of impact, we reflected on what has been accomplished together. Over the past decade, JBHF has helped thousands of families facing some of life's most difficult moments by providing emergency housing, meals, transportation assistance, utility support, and other critical resources during treatment and recovery. This year's event would not have been possible without the dedication of our Event Chairs, Kevin and Christine New, our Steering Committee, sponsors, donors, and the army of volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create an unforgettable evening. Most importantly, thank you to every guest who attended, bid, donated, sponsored, volunteered, or shared our mission. Your generosity ensures that families facing heart failure never have to walk this journey alone.

Dinner in the Vines 2026

For the first time, our Dinner in the Vines theme will draw inspiration directly from Joe Beretta's family heritage in the Dolomite Mountains of Northern Italy. In the Dolomites, there is a phenomenon called Enrosadira- a breathtaking moment at sunrise and sunset when the mountains appear to glow in shades of pink, gold, and amber as they catch the light.

The people of the region have celebrated this phenomenon for centuries because it reminds us of something profound- the mountain itself has not changed, but everything changes when the light touches it. That idea feels especially meaningful for where the Joe Beretta Heart Foundation finds itself today.

For ten years, we have walked alongside families facing seemingly impossible mountains- heart failure diagnoses, transplant journeys, long hospital stays, financial hardship, and uncertainty about what comes next. We cannot always remove those mountains. But we can bring light to them. We can bring hope, support, community, and relief during some of life's darkest moments.

Enrosadira is a celebration of that moment...when possibility becomes visible and hope catches hold. The moment the light touches the mountain.

Visually, the evening will be inspired by the colors of Enrosadira itself: Blush, Terracotta, Coral, Dusty Blues, Earthy Green. More than a theme, Enrosadira is a reminder that every great undertaking begins the same way: with people willing to believe in what is possible before everyone else can see it. In 2027, we invite our community to stand with us at first light.
