Join the Joe Beretta Heart Foundation at the Tennessee State Fair! We're looking for friendly volunteers to help us introduce fairgoers to our mission and engage them in fun, family-friendly activities throughout the week. This is a great opportunity to represent JBHF, connect with members of the community, and help us spread awareness of the resources we provide to heart failure patients, caregivers, and families.

• Volunteer Responsibilities​​​

  • Volunteers may assist with:

    • Greeting visitors as they pass by our booth

    • Sharing information about the Joe Beretta Heart Foundation

    • Encouraging participation in interactive activities such as our prize wheel and fair scavenger hunt

    • Helping guests sign up for our email newsletter or follow us on social media

    • Answering basic questions about our organization (materials and talking points will be provided)

    • Creating a welcoming and positive experience for fair attendees

NO EXPERIENCE NECCESSARY!

• You do not need to be an expert on heart failure or our programs to volunteer. We will provide information, talking points, and support to help you feel comfortable representing the Foundation.

• Shift Information

  • Shifts are approximately 2.5 hours in length and take place during evening fair hours. Volunteers should expect to spend most of their shift standing and interacting with fair attendees.
